A Computer Network or Data Network is a digital telecommunications network which allows nodes to share resources.In Computer Networks, networked computing devices exchange data with each other using data-link.The connection between nodes are established using either cable media or wireless media.

- Create files and store them in one computer,access those files from the other computer(s) connected over the network.
- Connect a printer,scanner, or a fax machine to one computer within the network and let other computers of the network use the machine available over the network.
